Polyester High tenacity polyester is used in the manufacture of standard 3 strand rope and in the construction of braided rope.  Polyester has low stretch properties and is often used in lifting slings where a combined lift is required.  Polyester is fairly resistant to acid environments but this is dependant on the temperature and concentration of the liquid..

Nylon is a very strong & soft to touch synthetic fibre rope which has excellent shock absorption properties. For this reason it is ideal for towing and mooring applications. Ideal for mooring, towing, single point mooring hawsers, lifting, for use on pulley blocks & general use.  Nylon is not suitable for use in acidic environments.

Polypropylene is a good strong synthetic rope that is hard wearing and stretches very little. It is ideal for use in the manufacture of lifting slings.  Polypropylene is suitable for use in many chemical environments.  Please check with our technical team if using with chemicals.

Manilla is a good strong traditional rope that is especially resistant to sunlight and stretched very little. Ideal for use in the garden on decking handrails and other decorative applications.
